I'm a Chartered Counselling Psychologist with many years' experience supporting adults through difficult and often painful periods of their lives. I'm registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) and am a Chartered Member of the British Psychological Society (BPS).

Much of my work is with people living with chronic pain and long-term physical health conditions — and the anxiety, grief, frustration and low mood that so often travel alongside them. I also work more broadly with anxiety, depression and trauma.

How I see therapy

I believe therapy works best when it's collaborative and human. You're not a diagnosis or a set of symptoms to me — you're a person trying to navigate something hard. My role is to bring evidence-based tools and a steady, compassionate presence, and to tailor the work to you.

I'm an integrative practitioner, which means I draw on several approaches — CBT, ACT, Compassion Focused Therapy, mindfulness and parts-informed work — and match them to what you're facing, rather than fitting you to a single model.
