How I help

Depression & low mood

When everything feels heavy, flat or pointless — therapy can help you find footing again.

Depression isn't simply sadness. It can be a grey flatness, a loss of interest in things you used to enjoy, exhaustion, self-criticism, or a sense that nothing will change. Living with pain or illness can make low mood more likely, and harder to shift alone.

Together we work at a pace that suits you — making space for how things really are, gently rebuilding momentum and meaning, and developing a kinder relationship with yourself along the way.

When it might help

  • Persistent low or flat mood
  • Loss of interest or enjoyment
  • Fatigue, poor sleep, or changes in appetite
  • Harsh self-criticism or hopelessness
