How I help

Trauma

For difficult past experiences that still echo in the present.

When something overwhelming has happened, it can stay with us — in memories that intrude, in feeling constantly on guard, in reactions that seem out of proportion to the present moment. This is a normal response to abnormal events, not a weakness.

I offer a safe, paced approach to processing what happened, working within your window of tolerance and never pushing faster than feels manageable. The goal is for the past to feel like the past, so it takes up less of your present.

When it might help

  • Intrusive memories, flashbacks or nightmares
  • Feeling on edge, jumpy or easily overwhelmed
  • Avoiding reminders of what happened
  • Difficult experiences still shaping daily life
